Favorite Restaurants in Charleston

After living in Charleston for about a year, I’ve eaten my way through plenty of restaurants, and yet there are places where I can’t stop thinking about… And I must go eat there again! Here is my list of restaurants that I have gone multiple times and I just can't stop recommending!
These restaurants below only made it to this list mainly due to the quality of their food for its price, in addition to their service and environment.
Charleston
Felix et Cuisine - French restaurant + bar
Le Farfalle - Italian restaurant
Harken Café - small café, good lunch spot
Doar Bros. - sit-down bar, intimate spot, food menu is also superb
Pink Bellies - Vietnamese restaurant
Well Hung Vineyard - wine bar, good brunch spot. Come here for wine flights!
Sorghum & Salt - farm to table restaurant, changing menu
The Honey Hive - dessert bar
Shiki Japanese Restaurant - close to authentic Japanese food
Baba’s on Canon - café + bar, good work spot
Butcher & Bee - farm to table restaurant, American-Mediterranean
Estadio - Spanish tapas restaurant bar
Lewis BBQ - hands down the BEST BBQ I’ve ever eaten
Xiao Bao Biscuit - Asian restaurant
Mt. Pleasant + Sullivan's Island
Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar - milkshakes + maybe a slice of cake on top
Coleman Public House - beers and burgers
Grace & Grit - never enough grits!
Poe’s Tavern (Sullivan’s Island) - burgers and sandwiches, bar
CO-OP (Sullivan’s Island) - who doesn’t like daytime frosé? + sandwiches
North Charleston
Dashi - Asian fusion restaurant and bar, love coming here for their Tuesday night Trivia
The Grit Counter - the name says it ;)
Lola - New Orleans cuisine
Jack Rabbit Filly - Chinese-American restaurant
There are many more places I have yet eaten at. And perhaps I should give certain places a second chance to make it to this list. But regardless, the food scene here is endless. Stay tuned for an updated list in the future! Let me know what your favorite restaurants and bars here are!
